Currently I use the mouse wheel to zoom in/out or if you press it, you
can move to the sides (auto-pan) like in Internet Explorer (I'm assuming
you're talking about the MS Windows version, I don't know how to get the
mouse wheel to work under Linux).
I thought the idea of using the left button for the XY plane and the
right button for the Z axis was good, you didn't like it ? Don't you
think that having something different depending on the position of the
camera would be more complicated ?
