Since the motion to move the LSC elections has been posted
http://news.lugnet.com/cad/?n=14117 and publicly discussed, and since by
peoples' silence, there appear to be no more lingering objections, the Steering
Committee hereby calls for a community vote to ratify the motion which shifts
the LDraw Standards Committee (LSC) elections from July to October by modifying
the LSC Final Draft (The full text of the proposed changes can be found at the
ballot page at LDraw.org).

To vote, please visit http://www.ldraw.org and log in with your user account.
Next, visit the ballot page on LDraw.org here:

http://www.ldraw.org/index.php?module=LdrawMOTM&func=ballotindex

Only LDraw organization members may cast one vote in the poll.

If you are not registered as a member of the LDraw organization and would like
to join, follow the instructions at the bottom of this page:
http://www.ldraw.org/article/283#join "Joining the Organization."

(Note: for best results you may want to wait up to 1/2 hour or so before trying
to vote if you are a newly joined member. Please reply to this announcement in
case you're having any problem).

The poll will conclude at 2359 EDT (GMT -0500), October 31, 2006 and the result
will be announced shortly thereafter.

Willy Tschager
On behalf of the LDraw.org Steering Committee
