Tim,
Sorry I haven't tackled the template pages for any of my utilities. I've
got just a couple of comments:
1. The author of a utility should not rate the utility. If you want
reviews, get other people to do them. Which isn't a bad idea--get a few
people to make quotable comments about the utility, and include them in
the download page.
2. What's the suggested download speed, in MB/minute, at 28.8K?
3. With the information on the download page, you're asking for me to do
dual maintenance with each update of my utilities. I'm not going to
dual-post my release notes as well.
4. I don't plan on posting screen shots. Do you mind if I delete that part
from the download pages for my utilities?
5. I would be much more comfortable if the 'download page' had an alternate
configuration, which linked to the utility's home page. Some utilities
are simple enough to just require a link from a generic-format page, but
others have more extensive homepages, which should not be short-cut.
