  LDMC site moved AGAIN. :-)

It is official and live: (URL) skippy! If no one cares, I am going to change the name to LDMC -- LDraw Mac Community. I'll slowly redo the site to reflect that it is a community now instead of a campaign. We're a community, right?.... right?..... (...)   stud.dat

First of all: I'm a complete newbie to LDraw. The situation: I've downloaded complete.exe and run it, saved the parts list from ldraw.org in C:\LDRAW\, and when I open up a LDRAW model in LDlite, none of the bricks have studs. When I open up MLCAD, (...) (25 years ago, 13-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Who Uses Original LDraw? (Was: ... Rocket Launch Pattern)

(...) Willy, You really got a good point here. I don't know if there is anyone that still uses original LDraw. And, I don't think the LDraw parts library is LDraw compatible anyway. At least not running under DOS - I think there was a limit of 2000 (...) (20 years ago, 12-Dec-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: New tool: LDDesignPad 0.3 for LDraw

Hello Carsten, In deed a great program! Hassle-free installation, opens as fast as NotePad, drag-n-drop files into workspace. I miss an L3Lab button, but since I don't use LDView, I renamed a copy of L3Lab.exe to LDView.exe and thus fooled (...) (23 years ago, 26-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: IMPORTANT - [ldraw.org] Official Model Repository

(...) This is a complex issue. The thing is, what is easy to click together with Lego could be difficult with LDraw. I would say LDraw uses submodels much more often than Lego would in its instructions. Say for example an angled wing assembly like (...) (25 years ago, 12-Jun-99, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

And it would be best to include some resources which are not on ldraw.org, such as the LDraw and LEdit tutorial, personal creations, animations, etc. The HTML Guide to the CD-ROM that I have in my head (...)   Ldraw Parts Files
