not that anyone ever heard of it, but ESQL (IBM language for MQSI) uses
double hyphen for comments.
That said, if I had to choose between '--' and '//', I'd go with the
slashes. oooh - here's an idea. We could change the Ldraw.org poll
(which is way overdue for change anyway) just to put some options up.
While I don't think the file standard should be built in a democratic
process, it doesn't hurt to get some un-scientific, inaccurate data!
