Hi all,

I just had a thought.
Would it be possible to make a little tool that generates an LDraw file with
random placed bricks?

I mean like this:
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=306251
I can imagine it was a pain to place and rotate all these bits and parts?

Also this:

Bricks in the box behind sitting boy figure. Render virtual LEGO storage

My idea for the program is to be able to specify:
- what bricks to use and how many
- the amount of space (square ldu) to use
- the degree of distorsion or something

Also perhaps some collision detection so that bricks wont end up in each
other...

Now I am no programmer, but maybe someone is willing to pick this up?

Jaco

(...) Not at all. It doesn't become difficult until you want it to look realistic. Play well, Jacob (22 years ago, 7-Feb-03, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev)
