Hi Don,
I'd love it if you would set up the project on sourceforge.  I know
nothing about sourceforge specifically, although I've use source code
control systems for many years.

As we can see, there are plenty of wasy to improve lsynth, and I think it
will be a much better program if a community can work on it.  Right now the
code is split up into a half a dozen files or so, so it is ameanable to
having multiple people work on it, unlike LPub, which is one 8000 line
source file ;^(

Do you want me to send you the code?

Sure, send it along.  I think the only sticky point that should be
resolved before creating the project is the source code license.
(I say "sticky" because we seem to have gotten stuck there with the
parts library and a recent attempt to get the Track Designer source
opened up.)  Information on the various licenses is available at
http://opensource.org/licenses/ and the current sourceforge choices
are listed as:

GNU General Public License (GPL)
GNU Library or "Lesser" Public License (LGPL)
BSD License
MIT License
Artistic License
Mozilla Public License 1.0 (MPL)
Qt Public License (QPL)
IBM Public License
MITRE Collaborative Virtual Workspace License (CVW License)

Python Software Foundation License
zlib/libpng License

Vovida Software License 1.0

Intel Open Source License
Mozilla Public License 1.1 (MPL 1.1)
Jabber Open Source License

Do you have a personal preference?
