We have previously discussed a "0 TEXTURE xxx" meta command, where
xxx could be RUBBER, CHROME, SLOPE, etc.
I have been wondering about another approach where color properties are
encoded in the color value. E.g. 0x1PRRGGBB, where there's room for 16
properties (P).
I know it breaks LDraw compatibility, but direct colors (0x02000000-0x07FFFFFF)
did too, and they are now supported by at least MLCad, LDView and L3P/L3Lab.
If the "0 TEXTURE xxx" ever gets decided, I would probaly use the
0x1PRRGGBB internally anyway :-)
