Re: LDR - New LDraw File Extension

(...) How about just using .ldr? Otherwise you Windows folks are going to have to fight it out with Microsoft for the .mpd extension, and we already know who'll win that battle. :) Microsoft registers .mpd for Microsoft Project Documents.   Piece Number?

Hi all, I was wondering if there is a part number associated with that large phone-handset piece that's been showing up in the UCS sets. There are two in the UCS tie fighter, I believe, and at least two in the Star Wars RBR. They are clearly seen in (...) (23 years ago, 5-Dec-01, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.mlcad)

(...) Yes this was a mistake as pointed out and discussed here (URL) corrected part using a subfile for the gold region in on the Parts Tracker awaiting release - but didn't make it into 2001-02. Chris (23 years ago, 4-Dec-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Color question

Still on the 200101 update: I noticed that 3297P90 (slope with classic space pattern) had some polys with color 18. Isn't it an illegal color code or did I miss a discussion and now it's valid ? The FAQ doesn't say anything about being able to use (...) (23 years ago, 4-Dec-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Hello, (...) its (...) LEdit can be changed. I did it myself. Just patch the extension with a hex-editor from .DAT to LDR. No reverse-engineering necessary ;)) Greetings Carsten (23 years ago, 3-Dec-01, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.mlcad)
