I have a Mac...am I screwed if I want to get in on this L-Draw gig?

For now, yes.  But hopefully not for long.

Also, I believe LDLite has been ported to Mac, and you can use something in
conjunction with something to model on a Mac (I sound pretty intelligent,
don't I?)  But for now, the best hope is the LDraw for the Macintosh
Campaign, and waiting it out until someone makes software that's for the
Mac.

On the intelligent part - a little disclaimer - I run a website, I don't
author software and I don't even keep up with it as much as I should :)
