Ryan,

Remember that first you need to place the hose ends in the model yourself.
Then determine the x,y,z of the "top" of each hose end.  These will be the
endpoints for hoser.  Add the control points, and hoser will calculate the
position and rotation matrix for the hose sections.

Hope this makes sense.

This isn't urgent(I won't be able to do anything about it until Sun. or
Mon.),
but I'd appreciate it if anyone could help me out here. I have been
working with Hoser a lot lately, but tonight I am having a problem.
I am trying to get 282, -7.8, -49.8 as one of the ends, but Hoser keeps
putting that end at somewhere's about 218, -8, -17.3
Everything else I have been doing tonight has worked ok, it is just
this one point that is giving me trouble.

Thanks

Ryan

(...) Sorry for interrupting. Just out of curiosity, I would like to ask if you use the end and control points the user chooses to compose the Bezier curve, or if you alter the control points to achieve the proper length of the curved hose? I don't (...) (25 years ago, 28-Oct-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)
