What to do with a partially finished part? (2994.DAT)

I have made a draft for the part 2994.DAT "Wheel 30.4 x 14 VR".  One can
scale down the already existing 6594.DAT "Tyre 49.6 x 28 VR" to get a
fairly realistic looking wheel and hub.

Here is the DAT source for the part:

    http://www.math.uio.no/~fredrigl/technic/ldraw/2994.dat

and a couple of images of it:

Now, the problem with my 2994.DAT draft is that I will most likely never
finish it off.  The details which remain are far too difficult for me to
make.

So what to do?  Submit it with a "needs work" tag?  Or forget about it
and change the status to "abandoned" on the parts tracker list?

What details are missing? Perhaps I (or someone else here) could help. -John Van Fredrik Glöckner <fredrik.glockner@bio.uio.no> wrote in message news:m3vhb6wd4i.fsf@....uio.no... (...) (25 years ago, 2-Aug-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)
