Hi, what is the easiest way of putting together minifigs in ldraw? I
spent almost an hour putting one together (space dude), the hands were
a major pain. And then there was the 2 hours getting the joysticks
placed into his hands. I thought i was pretty good at manipulating cad
software, but the minifigs are a pain to get right, but are still
worth it!

Personally, I subfile *everything* that might possibly rotate.  e.g. The
left hand and whatever it's carrying goes into mflhand.dat, and this file is
centered on the axis of rotation; the left arm and mflhand.dat go into
mflarm.dat; the torso has mflarm.dat and mfrarm.dat; etc.

Also, LDAO has a Minifig Modeller, which does a lot of the grunt-work for
you.

Cheers,
