Hi all,
Ive just uploaded the first beta version of txt2dat, a command-line program
to create LDraw files from text. It has been developed using cygwin and mingw
on Windows XP, and has not been fully tested in any other environments.
You can download it
here. If you
wanna give it a go, and let me know if you can get it to work, please feel
free.
Its VERY beta, so dont expect miracles!

Okay, I admit it: at first I thought text to LDraw? Big deal--I write all my
LDraw partsfiles as text files. But then I clicked on the link and figured it
out.
Wow, this utility is a great idea! I just downloaded it and will give feedback
as soon as Ive had a chance to mess around with it.
Dave!
