  Re: announcing TrackDraw (BrickFest preview)

(...) With all due respect, writing it in .NET leaves the non-Windows people out in the cold. Java (while it does have an occasional drawback or two) is portable and will run transparently on Windows, Macs and the various unices. This is not an (...) (21 years ago, 19-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: LDraw.org Config File (was: Edge line colors on img.lugnet.com)

(...) Right - it might be used for other things, either by LDraw.org (ie, as a general standard), or by specific programs. (...) Good point. Thanks for pointing that out. Steve (21 years ago, 16-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: LDraw.org Config File (was: Edge line colors on img.lugnet.com)

(...) Right off the bat, I'd like to say that I think using a different notation for (A)RGB would be a good thing. Whether it's #RRGGBB or something else, I don't care.   Re: LDraw.org Config File (was: Edge line colors on img.lugnet.com)

(...) Since no software can handle the file right now, I suggest the format is changed into: 0 COLORDEF color name edgecolor r g b dr dg db material COLORDEF in stead of COLOR to avoid confusion with ldlite COLOR. For edgecolor you can also use (...) (21 years ago, 13-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Re: announcing TrackDraw (BrickFest review)

(...) Just wanted to post a quick follow-up on TrackDraw. I sat in as Cary demonstrated the program at BrickFest, and WOW, does it ever look sweet! Cary is adding functionality beyond what TrackDesigner has, such as pathing, segment rotation, some (...) (21 years ago, 12-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad.dev, FTX)

  Ldraw.org on [H]ard-OCP

I just saw this on (URL) so ldraw.org should prepare for an increase on bandwidth, most sites usually overload when they've been put on the newspage: Leggo my Lego: Never again will a small child have the ability to run into the room and bumrush (...)   LDraw @ BrickFest Thanks

I just want to take a moment to thank those LDraw volunteers and presenters who came to BrickFest this weekend. Kevin Clague presented two sessions (to my knowledge) on LPub and LSynth. Cale Leiphart worked very hard to assemble and print posters (...) (21 years ago, 12-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)
