As per the established procedure (as I understand it) within LDraw,
as for any other piece which may be decorated (and, in this case,
ALWAYS was decorated), the actual DAT file has been split into two
separate DAT files:

   1) an undecorated "shortcut" file, and
   2) a "subpart" file that is missing the panels to be decorated.

As per prior correspondence with Steve, the part number I'm using
is "41.dat".  Thus, the subpart (which I'll be posting in a separate
message) will be "s\41s01.dat".

Now that I've posted this (and once I post the subpart), I'd like to
submit this piece for consideration for (eventual) inclusion into LDraw.

So, . . .  What do I do next?

To submit a part for the next part library update, e-mail the partfile(s) to
partsref@worldnet.att.net.

Note for everyone: parts, subfiles, and primitives posted to lugnet.cad.dat.*
are not automatically considered candidates for inclusion in future updates.
Many different kinds of files are posted to lugnet, and it would not be
appropriate to use lugnet postings as a method for submitting parts.

Steve
