dear admins,

would it be a help if everyone updates at least the header of his own parts, by
posting the modified headers in a unique posting at lugnet.cad.dat.parts?

for example:

Change:

0 Minifig Shield Round
0 Name: 3876.dat
0 Author: Willy Tschager
0 LDRAW_ORG Part UPDATE 2003-01

0 BFC NOCERTIFY

0 CATEGORY Minifig Accessory

0 2002-06-24 Moved from 124.dat
0 2002-08-19 Willy Tschager - replaced shield-section with hires-version (48
sections)
0 2002-11-04 DG - removed L3P warnings
0 2002-11-14 OWP - added Type 5 lines to ridges, made some primitive subs

to:

0 Minifig Shield Round
0 Name: 3876.dat
0 Author: Willy Tschager [Holly-Wood]
0 !LDRAW_ORG Part UPDATE 2003-01
0 !LICENSE Redistributable under CCAL version 2.0 : see CAreadme.txt

0 BFC NOCERTIFY

0 !CATEGORY Minifig Accessory

0 !HISTORY 2002-06-24 [PTadmin] Moved from 124.dat
0 !HISTORY 2002-08-19 [Holly-Wood] Replaced shield-section with hires-version

0 !HISTORY 2002-11-04 DG - Removed L3P warnings
0 !HISTORY 2002-11-14 OWP - Added Type 5 lines to ridges, made some primitive
subs
0 !HISTORY 2003-03-11 [PTadmin] Official update 2003-01

if this could speed up things, we should compile a list of our realnames +
username + acronym 'cos I have no idea if the above "DG" stands for "Damien
Guichard" and "OWP" for "Orion Pobursky". (I always expected that acronyms would
cause some problems in the future). I have used the following naming for the
PT:

{Realname} - [Username] - History acronym
{Willy Tschager} - [Holly-Wood] - WT
{Holly Wood} - [Holly-Wood] - HW

I suggest adding yours as follow-up to this post if the PT admins think that
this could help them.

w.

(...) Right now, I think that would be less than useful. Once I have something (a web interface on ldraw.org) ready to share, I may be asking for help in working through the official library. For now, I'd just appreciate your patience. Chris (18 years ago, 12-Sep-06, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
