I noticed that the old 1 x 8 brick without centerstuds has not been created for
LDraw, yet. This part is not even listed in the Peeron database either.
This variant is used in the CA period a lot, although I have a red brick which
seems ABS to me.
As this variant is functional different from the variant with center studs I
have created this variant. As I don't know a part number, I named the part
3008a. As this variant is used a lot for named beams I created a subpart without
the front face. Although the inside ribs are not functional, these can be
clearly seen in transparant parts. This variant was available in clear
transparant. A have a few of these.
If it is okay to use these partnumbers, (or if I have to rename these to other
partnumbers), I can upload these to the parts tracker.
A similar thing is true for the old 1 x 6 brick without centerstuds, but these
have a new version without centerstuds.
