While creating some models that use this part as a non bulb covering, I've
noticed two problems with it
1) the dome top is too squashed - while not a perfect sphere it is not as flat
as the current part
2) the part is too short - the real one is more than 2 plates, but less than 2
plates and 1 stud in height
So I've made a few changes to my copy, which I post for general usage below
I've also added the slight groove (in the same fashion as the groove on tiles)
that is present on the part

| (...) hi william, the globe is currently at the PT (renamend and hold voted): (URL) submit your version there as well. regarding the renumber please read the comment in: (URL) (...) it might a good idea to add this comment to the globe as well. w. (21 years ago, 17-Apr-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
