hi folks,

I continued my journey through the "holds" and ended up at:

http://www.ldraw.org/cgi-bin/ptdetail.cgi?f=parts/3068pufo.dat

with the follwing statement:

Reviewer: Deckard
Certification: hold
Comments:
Orange has to be in subpart

is this true? orange (color number 35) is not a dithered color. why has it
to be stored in a subfile?

For reasons of strict compatibility, colors in part files are limited to
0-16, 24, 32-47, and 256-511.  Any of the 'post-LDraw' color codes
(17-23, 24-28, 57, etc) are not allowed.  So for orange, you need to
stick with the dithered version, 462.

Steve
