why is the part number different than the peeron part #?

| Because Peeron and LDraw.org don't synchronize their temporary numbers (the xNNN numbers). Once a part file is officially released by ldraw.org, the Peeron database is usually (almost always) updated to use the official LDraw number. Steve (...) (22 years ago, 9-Sep-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
