I have found at a 30117 - 'Panel 10 x 10 x 2&1/3 Quarter Saucer Top'
the number 30320 (it's a transp. light green one).

I'd heard about that, but I'd forgotten the second number existed!

So my question is
what about this two diffrent numbers on the same part and are there
other parts with different numbers?

Yes, there are other parts with multiple numbers, for various reasons.

In the most recent parts update, we released 4 "cross-reference" part
files.  This was our first attempt to directly address the issue of
"multiple numbers, single part".

I'll put up a cross-reference file for 30320.

There are also multiple numbers for at least some of the newish Technic
body panels.  I'll put up some of those files, too.

Anybody remember any others?

Steve

I found this email exchange between Joshua Delahunty, you and I on L-CAD

I was packing away my Soccer Stadium this evening, and noticed something a
little odd.  The 2x4 round-top bricks, the ones used for stadium lights,
have both a four-digit and a five-digit part number.  The old number is
6192.  The new number is 30337. I haven't seen dual imprinting like this
previously.  Does anyone know of any other parts like this?  Maybe the molds
for this element were made during the change-over, and they wanted to be
sure they had their bases covered.

Hmm. I could've sworn I've written e-mail to you, Steve, on this
specifically.

From my database, I have a part number of 30097 for what I call the
"1x6 Large Angled Window, 11H", and in the notes for that entry, I've
got "New element number from net.posting by Steve Bliss, 04-Jan-1997".
The "four-digit" number for this element is 2408.  I'm sure I mentioned
this in the e-mail, as well.

The full list...

2408    1x6 Large Angled Window, 11H                    30097
2507    4x10 Sloping Window, Hinge Connect, 5M, 2H      30058
3960    4x4 Round Plate (Radar Dish)                    30065
4345    Mini-Figure Mailbox, Door Connects, 2H          30060
4346    2x2 Tile Hinge/Door (Mailbox Door), 2H          30059
4865    1x2 Tile, Top/Side Wall                         30010
6192    2x4 Curved Arched Brick                         30337

The change (so far) has always come when there's been a shift from
opaque to transparent elements (in the case of 2507, most likely
the other way around, actually).  I believe (just guessing) that
new molds are required for more exacting requirements of transparently
molded elements.

Another element pair that therefore probably fit this pattern are

6218    4x2 Half-Round Hollow Brick, 4H, Tk Base
and
6259    4x2 Half-Round Hollow Brick, 4H (Transparent only?)

Both came out in 1995, just before "five-digit" numbers started.
