Very nice job, especially if this is your first part!
Steve Bliss started this part which eventually became used as a "mock-up". I
was supposed to finish it, but several other parts were needed that had a
higher priority.

I have looked your part over. A few things I have noticed are;
Orientation. It is my impression that all parts using studs are orientated
so that the top surface under the topmost stud is Y=0.
If you want this part to replace Steve's part for other people's model
creations, you need to rotate this part around the Y axis by 180 degrees.
However the way you have it now matches up with 30201(the bottom matching
piece).
Email me and I will try to explain a few of the quad "errors", or
"fracturing" I have noticed.
Please don't feel bad about any errors. I made the 30201 part. I had to
start it over 3 times. The calculations to keep the surfaces planar drove me
crazy. Eventually I made a spreadsheet & calculator to help out. They are
available on my "Utilities" page.
The outer edges of your 30117 should match up to the 30201. a sample dat
file for comparison is like this;
