Mismatched half-arches

While recently working with regular and inverted half-arches, <part:2339> and
<part:30099>, I was dismayed to find the part models have different curvatures,
whereas the real ones are identical. The curve of the upright one is composed
of quads, whereas the inverted one uses a cylinder subpart. How could one tell
which one is accurate? How much trouble would it be to fix the wrong one?
