This is my first time submitting anything here (just downloaded LDraw and MLCAD last week), and I have a few questions. First, how would I know if someone else had done this part already? The official library came with a 1x2 brick with this pattern, (...) (24 years ago, 8-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

And here is the quarter boat base 2560 which was originaly done by Steve. I cut it into a quarter and then inlined it in the main part (At least I think this is how inlining is done.)
