Nice job.
A few comments:
-I posted 30372p79.dat to cad.dat.parts. This is the correct pattern for the
x-wing.
-I just posted 6069p101.dat to cad.dat.parts. This is the patterned version
of the nose piece.
-Be aware that I submitted the 1X2 computer tile as 3069p101.DAT, not
3069p79.dat as it was posted to cad.dat.parts.
-Did you forget the landing gear on the X-Wing? As much as we all hate it, it
is part of the model. I would suggest including it as a subfile.
-How about posting an MPD version so we can play with the submodels? For a
real challenge, try putting your file in the Official Model Repository format.

| Along with this message I included an mpd file of 7140. I included the unofficial parts with it, you need LCad update 9905 to see the official ones. --Calvin Walton P.S. | I just finished making this in Ledit. It is missing some pieces, but is otherwise finished. I have noticed a problem with it not working right in LDlite, so you may want to view it in LDraw in "Single Step" mode. 0 7140 X-wing Fighter 0 Name: (...)
