     (...) Thanks for the compliment. As far as piece placement and order go, I try to follow the official instructions as close as possible.      (...) Yes, either follow the directions or do it logically (i.e. easy to follow and build for someone without the instructions). Also, Could you try to have the minifig hold the control sticks?    Fans of the Alienator may be interested in my 'shrine' to the set at: (URL) have also drawn the official alternative models shown on the box in LDraw, and have also done a few of my own, using only pieces from the set.
