Hi all, I have been very impressed with the talent of everyone here, and it inspired me to do a bit of animation with the models you all have uploaded. Now you're getting very close to my vision! I have a short "action-packed" story with a couple of slapstick jokes. With my very old but good animation program - I can even add sound! - I'd love the idea of a POV generated animation. But my ToDo-list (...) (25 years ago, 31-Aug-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

(...) Thanks, that door is one of my favorite parts. :) There were two reasons preventing me from making it more rectangular: a. For some reason I was trying to limit it to that baseplate. (...) I feel the same way, but I think the reason there aren't many LDrawn buildings is that LEdit isn't particularly well suited for large constructions. Very nice. I'm suprised we haven't seen more in the way of LCad buildings. I've always thought it would be cool to create a virtual Lego town as a community project, with individual buildings, vehicles, etc. combined into one huge scene. -John Van (...)
