Datsville Rev039 - Micro Update —Tore Eriksson
The new revision of my unofficial Datsville is at: (URL) Fixed minor problems with minifig arms and a misplaced BFC statement * Updated MovedTo parts with parts from LDraw.org 2011-01 Parts Update /Tore (13 years ago, 16-Aug-11, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

Re: Datsville Rev039 - Micro Update —Michael Horvath
(...) I have some time on hand that I plan to spend on Datsville. Mainly some organizational things and a few tweaks. I will use your revision as a basis. I think it would be cool to solicit submissions from users of LDD as well as LDraw, for (...) (13 years ago, 8-Sep-11, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

Re: Datsville Rev039 - Micro Update —Tore Eriksson
(...) That's really great news, Mike! I like all your ideas and I give you quite free hands. And if there isn't anything I absolutely can't accept, I'll include your changes in "my" future unofficial versions of Datsville. How about a shared Dropbox (...)          Re: Datsville Rev039 - Micro Update —Michael Horvath
I like the two story house model. But, could I make a slight adjustment? For instance, I don't think it is deep enough. Mike (13 years ago, 22-Sep-11, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

        Datsville Unoff_v1_0_0 —Tore Eriksson
(...) Hmm, I'm aware that I said I'll give you quite free hands, but well... First, the order of those blocks are a little strange to me: 20,19,18 14,15,16,17 13,4,3,1,2 12,5,6,7,8 9,10,11 (and building #45 does not even belong to any block?) I (...)          Re: Datsville Unoff_v1_0_0 —Michael Horvath
(...) That's because there is no order other than first come, first serve. Nor is a fixed order possible unless you design the town using some algorithm. This is like a typical database. (...)      (...) Are you sure? It just seems so awkward at that location. (...) I think we can safely scrap the old POVray stuff. Though my version is not necessarily an improvement. Mike (13 years ago, 22-Sep-11, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

Re: Datsville Rev039 - Micro Update —Tore Eriksson

        Google Code branch —Michael Horvath

Re: Google Code branch —Michael Horvath
A third revision is up. The main highlight is that there is now stuff to visit across the river, as well as two bridges connecting to there! Also, I added short text descriptions to the file names so you can tell the models apart. (13 years ago, 25-Sep-11, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

Google Code branch - vehicle_046_whitecamper.ldr —Tore Eriksson
I think we have a problem here. I mailed Brickbuilder to ask permission to use the White Camper Caravan in Datsville and meanwhile put it in the Pending folder. He never replied, so I guess we have to take that for a 'No'. /Tore (13 years ago, 25-Sep-11, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

Re: Google Code branch —Michael Horvath
I've uploaded a seventh revision. (URL) decided that some of the buildings I made were simply to large, so I made smaller versions.         Datsville needs trees! —Michael Horvath
Datsville needs some more trees. It has some already but they are very basic. A greater variety would be good. Anyone want to model some? (13 years ago, 9-Jan-12, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

Re: Datsville needs trees! —Tore Eriksson
(...) I really second that request. Steve Bliss's tree is truly brilliant, but now there are too many of them exactly alike. /Tore (13 years ago, 9-Jan-12, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)
