This is my most complex CAD structure yet.

Here is an overall view:

Here is the index to all the pictures:

I call it the Cathedral of Ice because the two towers look like huge
icicles.

I based this building on the general shape of Cologne (Koln) Cathedral in
Germany.  However, I added many elements of my own design including modern,
curved plexiglass windows and curvy buttressing elements.  The final style
might be called "Gothic Modern."

Thanks to Mark Kennedy for providing the curved "Paradisa" windows (6002) as
well as updating the straight version of these windows (2572) to match.
These windows were critical.  I'm so happy to have these.  Thanks Mark!

I didn't post the .dat files because there are about 5 of them plus you
would need some new parts and primatives.  If anyone is interested, I'll be
happy to send you all the pieces.

Feedback is appreciated,

Brad

Ay-ya-yie, Brad! Sheesh!! I'm just speechless. As *usual*. When I was browsing the "recent" brickshelf stuff I just *knew* that had to be another one of your designs (before I checked! really! ;-), so I waited for the post to show up. ;-) Now, now, (...) Okay, so for some people it would be toothpicks under the fingernails, for others tiny drops of water dropping on their foreheads, and for still others bright flashing lights that deprive them of sleep -- but for Brad it would be those full round (...) (...) Wow, this is incredible! I particulary like the cross on the roof with the buttresses "flowing" out from it. Thats a nice architectual touch. (...) I'm interested! Rob robo2705@hotmail.com (24 years ago, 7-Dec-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.cad.dat.models, lugnet.build.arch)

Brad Hamilton you are amazing. That is the most beautiful Lego Cathedral I have ever seen. I was just having a serious conversation with my girlfriend and I found this and we were both stunned to silence. She didn't even believe it was made with (...) (...) Stunning! This one took my breath away. I've had it up as wallpaper all week and everyone at work keeps asking if it's really Lego. Very fine work. Bryce (24 years ago, 10-Dec-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.cad.dat.models, lugnet.build.arch)
