Here is a "motor cycle" I made for use with my DeLorean, located at (URL) I like the design of the bike, and I think it looks pretty neat. I also made a model for use by the police department. I just had to play around with this terrific model by Mladen Pejic (URL) dropped the heavy armaments and changed colors to a black-and-white police type cruiser. ...Its not the best design, but it does work and can be sculpted fairly well. It uses a hinge brick with a hinge plate to improve friction, a click hinge gives it vertical rotation. Here is a robot that I recently created. To see him with his laser out, just change the text to say johnny2.dat, instead of johnny.dat. It is heavily based on the movie "Short Curcuit." (...) Try viewing it with LDLite or L3Lab. The minifig was made using LDao's Minifig Modeler, which spits out code with LDLite language extensions. MLCAD and L3P don't recognize the LDLite commands, so they render incorrectly. BTW: the newest (...) (25 years ago, 22-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

I love the loader, but the minifig seems to hav had a melt down. When I load it into mlcad, or convert it with L3P, the minifig parts are all stacked on top of each other like they were not transformed or rotated. I think I'd have to disagree with you Mladen. If those were pneumatic or hydraulically driven arms or forks like on a fork lift, they'd probably be plenty strong. Anything bigger, while perhaps more aesthetically pleasing, would most likely leave (...) (25 years ago, 22-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

(...) The patterns that didn't show up are (incorrectly) made up of lines instead of polygons. L3P can't distinguish between edge lines and pattern lines, so it leaves them out altogether. Thanks! I think I might start to bocus more on microfig scale creations. Although, the things I build tend to be quite a bit bigger than yours. Is there something between micro and minifig? This is a mecha I came up with while fooling around with a bunch of clips and hinges. It has a similar paint sceme to Ben Vaughan's Kodiak Mecha. Anyway, mine has a single operator, 4 Rapid-Fire Pulse Laser Cannons, 2 LRM2, and a Ripley AX-170 (...) (25 years ago, 13-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

Do you realize ring2.dat is an ldraw primitive and that by redefining it in the MPD file you've created an infinite loop of dat file includes. ring2.dat -> flame3.dat -> (...)
