  Hiker Vignette

(2 URLs) A little dabble into Vignettes and MLCAD. Render still needs work. Jason Spears | (URL) BrickCentral> | (URL) MichLUG> | (URL) CLB> (19 years ago, 14-Mar-05, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.vignette, lugnet.cad.dat.models, lugnet.org.us.michlug, FTX) !

  Re: If I were a minifig...... ( bed & bath )

Very very nice models. (...) Not hard. I wrote these instructions a few years ago. They are really bad instructions (I know alot more about POV-Ray now...) (URL) you *really* want to do it, I could help. Some of my QTVR's (very old) (URL) (19 years ago, 9-Mar-05, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Re: If I were a minifig...... ( bed & bath )

Very nice! But I dunno - you might need longer ceiling fan blades to circulate the air in that large of a room. :-) I'd love to be able to see this kind of thing in a Quicktime VR file. Wonder how hard that is... James Wilson Dallas, TX (19 years ago, 9-Mar-05, to lugnet.cad.dat.models, FTX)

  Re: If I were a minifig...... ( bed & bath )

(...) ... (...) Wow, that's....cool. I love those. Don't be surprised if they show up in some house I build or something. ;-) (Nah, I'd never rip off someone else's work. I might borrow with permission, but I'd never rip off. That's just not nice.) (19 years ago, 9-Mar-05, to lugnet.cad.dat.models, FTX)

  If I were a minifig...... ( bed & bath )

If I were a minifig I'd have a walk in shower, a jet tub and oh yes ladies a 10 wide bed. (2 URLs) I'm thinkin' I might be a technic minifig Chris. (19 years ago, 9-Mar-05, to lugnet.cad.dat.models, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !

Re: If I were a minifig......

Awesome! Very inspiring! Not to be a downer, but after the rec room (and highly important kitchen) I'd love to see a quiet study/lego room : ) God Bless and thanks for sharing, Nathan (19 years ago, 2-Mar-05, to lugnet.cad.dat.models, FTX)

Re: If I were a minifig......

Rock on! Awesome level of detail you stuffed into it. -Stefan- (19 years ago, 1-Mar-05, to lugnet.cad.dat.models, FTX)

Re: If I were a minifig......

(...) Unfortunately this scene is not possible to build in 'real' LEGO in the chosen colors. I spotted at least 4 parts not available in the chosen color. But that makes CAD so nice: all parts available in any color. It's a great scene with nice (...) (19 years ago, 1-Mar-05, to lugnet.cad.dat.models, FTX)

Re: If I were a minifig......

Hello! Actually I'm not too fond of CAD models, I prefer 'real' LEGO. However, this scene is very nice. Being a minifig myself (yeah!) I can say I'd love to live there. That's some great furniture. Bye Jojo (URL) (19 years ago, 1-Mar-05, to lugnet.cad.dat.models, FTX)

Re: If I were a minifig......

(...) Add a bar in the corner and I'll go live with you :-) Terry (19 years ago, 1-Mar-05, to lugnet.cad.dat.models, FTX)

Re: If I were a minifig......

(...) Very cool. Just a thought though. If you're planning on having a party, shouldn't you do the kitchen next? Most good parties end up in the kitchen :) JB (19 years ago, 28-Feb-05, to lugnet.cad.dat.models, FTX)

Re: If I were a minifig......

(...) Awesome, wireless 5.1 surround sound! w0w, that's an insane amount of detail. pool table for the rec room, maybe a bench and a plsama tv hanging from the ceiling in a corner? great job! -mark (19 years ago, 28-Feb-05, to lugnet.cad.dat.models, FTX)

Re: If I were a minifig......

That's nice! Time to dump those big front L & R speakers for some small ones and a sub-woofer, though. :-) I especially like the first pic in the folder, the way the screen reflects the background, just like a true big-screen TV. James Wilson (...) (19 years ago, 28-Feb-05, to lugnet.cad.dat.models, FTX)

Re: If I were a minifig......

  If I were a minifig......

If I were a minifig...... This would be my living room. (2 URLs) brickshelf> I think I'm gonna make the rec room next. Pretty soon all the minifigs are gonna want to hang out at my pad. Hope ya like, Chris. (19 years ago, 28-Feb-05, to lugnet.cad.dat.models, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !!

  Re: A few rendered MOCs

(...) I saw your post while I was flicking through Brickshelf before uploading my own. I was so tempted to go back and add a pagoda or gate or something to my model before posting. It's a nice little touch that really helps bring out the concept. (...) (19 years ago, 27-Feb-05, to lugnet.cad.dat.models, lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

  Re: A few rendered MOCs

(...) Thanks. Thats a good idea for the dice. When I make the real world version I'll be sure to fill in the open areas. Chris. (19 years ago, 27-Feb-05, to lugnet.cad.dat.models, FTX)

  Re: A few rendered MOCs

(...) I used a few programs to finish off these images. Once the model was complete in MLcad I used L3P to convert the .ldr and .mpd files to .pov files. I used the L3P addon "L3PAO" to do this. I then opened the files in POV-RAY and ran that (...) (19 years ago, 27-Feb-05, to lugnet.cad.dat.models, FTX)

  Re: A few rendered MOCs

(...) The bonsai tree is my favorite. I really like the lightening. (...) I did. (...) Question? Once you finished with them in LDraw; what program did you use to render them with? How did you export them from LDraw and import then to the new (...) (19 years ago, 24-Feb-05, to lugnet.cad.dat.models, FTX)
