Hi,
sorry about the repost, but I have a definite problem here:
I'm running a pc under win 98 with 128mg ram, I used to use ldao (version
1.4) and everything worked fine. however since version 2.01 neither the
editor nor the modeler works, everytime I try to use it I get a run time
error 13 (type mismatch) and ldao crashes. This happens with 2.02 too,
since it seems to work for everybody else I assume it is sometype of dll
conflict but I can't seem to determine which one. I'd really like to be
able to use it. When steve started to post the source I hoped I'd be able
to solve this by myself however I only have version 5 of VB and can't afford
to buy the new version. Steve are you using any version 6 specific
functions? or can I use VB5 to build the program? Also I can tell you that
just before the error happens a subdirectory called ldao appears in my
models directory with two files in it named Code0000.dat and Edit0000.dat
both are empty except the following line:
0 Work Code File Code0000.DAT
or
0 Work View File Edit0000.DAT
this is getting very frustrating especially since I see all of you posting
happily about the new feature in ldao...
thank you for any help!
