If I got it right, you can use:
1 6 0 -35 -10 1.5 0 0 0 0 1.5 0 -1 0 ring4.dat
1 5 0 -35 -10 2.5 0 0 0 0 2.5 0 -1 0 ring3.dat
1 6 0 -35 -10 2.5 0 0 0 0 2.5 0 -1 0 ring4.dat
> 0 inline stud2.dat minus 1 edge
Hint: Sounds to me like Stud2a.dat plus one edge...
