I have added a new download to my site ( geometries.tripod.com ) that is a
completly posable Obi Wan Kenobi minifig (
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=198898 ). For the Bryce
users out there if you download the model you will see a simple example on
how to make the lDraw light saber blade seem to glow. The light saber blade
does not use lights, but another cylinder inside the lDraw blade. This
second cylinder is setup so that it does not cast or recieve shadows, the
diffusion is set to white at 100%, ambience is set to 100%, reflection is
set to 0. Also the saber blade itself will need to have the cast/receive
shadows turned off. Then when it is rendered, you will have a nice glowing
light saber.
