LDAO has a tool for this, it's called Mover.  Not a very good name,
but it takes a single model-file, and scans it for parts which have
been moved.

There is another utility around, I think, that will update all files
in the models\ directory at once.

I think it would be a good idea to have a list file in the LDrawDir that
could be shared by other utilities and even programs like BlockCAD.

Such a file already exists -- parts.lst.  At the C:\LDRAW> prompt, do
FIND "~Moved" <PARTS.LST.

Parts.lst isn't a perfect solution, because it doesn't track files
which have been overwritten by a newer part.  OTOH, it's already
there.

Alternatively, the moved-to-list could be saved in LDraw.ini, but that
would be a more complicated solution.

No, the moved-to list should be in the LDraw directory.  Actually,
most of ldraw.ini should be in the LDraw directory, except for the
pointer to where LDraw is installed.
