POV-RAY / MPD File Question

To All,
I have went into the whole ML-CAD / POV-RAY deep end for my continuing war
pages. I started to use ML-Cad to draw them into dat files, and it is great.
Now, I have figured out how to use the L3P Add on, and POV-RAY itself. Now
my only question is this:
How do I take a MPD and convert it using the L3P add on to get the complete
model in POV-RAY. All my attempts so far has resulted in the base ship being
modeled, not any of the sub parts. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
Any links to help also would be cool!
