hello again gang.. okay.. after a couple more days of coding it's getting
pretty close to having all features implemented...
I still haven't bothered putting it up on my page (VB coding is tedious enough,
i'm not jazzed about hacking HTML for it yet)..
but if you simply send me a mail (onyx@flash.net) i'll put you on the mailing
list to receive a copy now and all updates (it's only up to 67K)

Updates in version .3b:

- Now fully uses the LDraw.INI (created by LDAO) for storing the location of
your L3P and POV output files

- Now uses the LDraw.INI to store user-created camera views

- All standard camera views (front, back, left, right, above, below and all 4
3/4 corner views) are completely implemented.

- User-created camera views are now fully implemented. You can create new views
and then later delete them (max 20 user-created)

-Upon program launch, it automatically does a search for the L3P.exe in a
subdirectory of your LDraw directory (LDraw\L3P). If the L3P.exe is not found
in this directory, a browse dialog comes up so you can specify where you keep
L3P. This means that L3P can now be located anywhere you like. This directory
is then saved in the LDraw.INI and is checked every time the program loads
(just in case you move L3P later)

-Upon initiating L3P the program checks to see if the POV output file you have
chosen already exists. If it does and you do not already have the -o
(overwrite .POV files) option turned on, the proggy will prompt you to do so.

- Gave the proggy its own icon (sort of a wireframe .DAT to shaded POV lego
thingy)

Light presets still aren't coded (although you can set up to 20 lights (L3P
max)) you just can't save the configuration of them yet.. that should be done
in another day.. basically the same routines as the camera view presets, just
that other tweaks came first (like that all-so-important icon.. :)  )

Just unzip and replace your old L3PAO.EXE with this one.. continue using as
prescribed by your doctor... :)

Any questions or comments, please feel free to write me!!! i'll be happy to
implement any suggestions people think will help out!

To use L3PAdd-On as a tool under LDAO, add the following entries into your
LDraw.ini (you'll need to customize them a bit for your system, if you are
uncomfortable with this, don't try it)
Making these modifications will create menu and button options to launch
L3PAdd-On. Once you have made these changes go to Options | Update Tool Menu in
LDAO and you should see the changes:
