Everybody,
Todd recently explained to my why some of the lines in DAT files were being
wrapped, which causes problems in rendering.
The problem is that the newsreader you use to post from has its line lengths
set too low. So the newsreader wraps the line when sending.
He said you should go into your programs Options/Preferences and *temporarily*
set the line length to a higher number - like 999. Although something like 150
would probably be enough. Then post the dat file.
Afterwards you should go back and set the length back down to 80 or less.
Don't leave the line length set to high, or readers of your posts to other
groups will have to scroll to the right to see what your saying.

| Thanks, Terry, for looking into this. I increased my line length, but evidently not enough. 150 should do, though! -John Van Terry K wrote in message <369ef0ed.23805132@l...et.com>... (...) lengths (...) *temporarily* (...) 150 (...) (26 years ago, 15-Jan-99, to lugnet.cad)
