This may not be what you are exactly looking for, but if you go to the VIEW menu
in LEdit there will be an option for CENTRE-VIEW. Choosing this option will
center the viewing screen on the part that is currently active. This will allow
you to see you model, or part of it, from a different perspective with out
having to zoom out. Hope this helps.
