Just for the fun of it¹, I animated the pistons and crankshafts and rods
of a V8 engine. You can't see much of the rods, unfortunately, as the
engine blocks aren't transparent. If I had chosen to keep the engine
blocks transparent, the rendering time would have been much to high for
a project like this.
