Similar to how we sometimes include unofficial parts in the MPD, except recursively adding all needed parts and sub-parts from library. If not, I may hack (...) The trick is to select your LDraw folder as "unofficial parts" folder, select any empty directory as official parts folder and check "choose unofficial parts over official parts".
