First I'd like to say how pleased I am that the bulk of the parts are under the
new license. It's been a long process but I think the legal flexibility offered
should really help LDraw.
I was hoping Chris would let someone else post this announcement so he could be
given the full credit he deserves in the annoucement but alas he's taken on more
work for himself. This has been a massive task and he has contributed the bulk
of the work. Thank you very much for your selfless contribution, Chris.
Some special thanks is also due for Willy Tschaeger who has stepped in on many
occasions and also, of course for all the parts authors who've helped build the
library.
Tim
PS. And I've been asked to extend thanks from Peter Morris who isn't active on
LUGNET but is a happy user of LDraw.
