Neat package! I knew there were lots of informal SW/LEGO fans out there (SW
meaning SolidWorks!). Can I ask a couple of questions?
1. Is there an official English page? Trying to read using an online translator
is very frustrating. I really want to see an English translation of the PDF doc
with all the specifications of the package.
2. What parts are included in the library? I’ve already modeled quite a few in
SolidWorks, so I need to know if it’s worth purchasing.
3. Your translator imports DAT/LDR files and imports them into SW as surface
models, right? Does it translate the “LDRAW Unit” to metric sizes automatically?
I think I understood that correctly from some of the charts. Does your
translator go the other way (SolidWorks back to DAT)?
I teach a class that models LEGO parts in various software, and I’ve had to
change it as more and more parts become available on the net. Now I’m really
going to have to be careful that these parts don’t show up in my class!
