| | (...) I don't know if a semi-official decision has been made, but I'd use color #3. It's not an exact match, but it's reasonably close. Steve (26 years ago, 1-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad)

| | | | (...) I've run a color table and compared the color outputs from LDraw with POV-Ray and I reached the conclusion that they don't match very well. Something that sometimes is greener in LDraw turns out bluish in POV-Ray. The same goes with all the (...) (26 years ago, 1-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad)

| | | | | (...) Yes, well, the colors in LDraw aren't very good. Most of them are just the default 16-color palette from the video card. In LDLite, you can redefine the color-values, so you could use whatever color-code you like. I'm hoping that sometime, the (...) (26 years ago, 2-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad)

| | | | | (...) Just what LEGO colour does the colour #3 (dark cyan) represent? I don't think I have seen any bricks that are dark cyan, but I may very well be wrong. If this is not in use, can we redefine it to be teal? Fredrik (26 years ago, 2-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad)

Anyway, if you choose to chance the palette, the major problem I see is with LDraw. The only way I see we (...) (26 years ago, 3-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad)
