At Larry's suggestion, I'm trying to get LDGLite (for OS X, in my case). The (URL) LDGLite page> provides a link to an (URL) OS X app bundle>, but I've downloaded it twice now, and both times it fails to unpack, saying: "gunzip: (...) (19 years ago, 26-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac, FTX)

All right, the new LDD and LEGO Factory have inspired this idea, which is a dumb one but I have to get it off my chest anyway: Somebody with reasonable technical skills and a decent amount of time on their hands could set up a service similar to (...) (19 years ago, 26-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

(...) If we followed that logic, LDraw would never have existed in the first place. When LDraw started out, there were already plenty of 3D modeling systems. Heck, there were already lego-brick subsets of 3D modeling systems. Yet LDraw does exist, (...) (19 years ago, 26-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.animation)
