  Re: Decorated DATs

(...) See lugnet.cad.dev for more information on this. There are a lot of mechanisms for creating patterned parts. I myself have used Quad2Dat successfully. Assuming you have a good quality high resolution scan of the part and it's a flat surface (...) (22 years ago, 17-Dec-02, to lugnet.build, lugnet.cad.dev)

New primitive: chord.dat (not the final name)  [DAT]

Here's something I whipped up that I find extremely useful for patterned parts in particular. When trying to put something inside a circle (or anywhere near a curved section), this lets you avoid 2 problems: 1: having to calculate the awkward (...)   Re: What minifigs do when we look away...

(...) LOL! That's great! If you haven't yet, I think you should submit that to Scene of the Month on Ldraw.org. Cheers, --Ryan (22 years ago, 17-Dec-02, to lugnet.cad)

Re: ISCC II Moc: MAYA Land

Hey Yaron, thanks, this is the first Ancient Americas MOC I recall in awhile. Somehow studs look good on Mayan pyramids, maybe because I'm prepared to see them somewhat "greebly". The few smooth slopes you use make a nice counterpoint. The greenery (...) (22 years ago, 16-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.build.ancient, lugnet.cad)

Hi, I have just converted part 3004p50.dat (Brick 1 x 2 with Lego-Logo Old) to 3003p50.dat (Brick 2 x 2 with Lego-Logo Old). I have three copies of a real brick 2 x 2 with Lego-Logo Old, two in yellow one in blue, but I did not find such a part in (...) (22 years ago, 16-Dec-02, to lugnet.cad)

Re: What minifigs do when we look away...

Thanks! I guess this brings a new meaning to the term microfig scale... :o) /Tore (...) (22 years ago, 16-Dec-02, to lugnet.cad)

Re: What minifigs do when we look away...

(...) Already thought of that. Another cool idea I had was having a giant (mini?)fig head looking into the scene from above. /Tore (22 years ago, 16-Dec-02, to lugnet.cad)

Re: What minifigs do when we look away...

(...) A little suggestion for the next version: You should lift the roof of the house, and let us see the small minifigs inside that, playing with tiny, tiny Lego, among other things a tiny house without roof, where you (maybe) can see tiny, tiny (...) (22 years ago, 16-Dec-02, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Part names description wanted

Ludo, Starting the names with "Train Track 9V Point" is probably the most important part. Specific suggestions: 2866 Train Track 9V Point Lever 2863 Train Track 9V Point Right Base 2864 Train Track 9V Point Slider 2869 Train Track 9V Point Right (...) (22 years ago, 16-Dec-02, to lugnet.cad)
