  New Part: Boat Mast Base 4 x 4 x 9  [DAT]
 
This and the next file are the two bases for the pirate ship masts, a tall on e and a short one. I've named them "Boat Mast Base 4 x 4 x height," 9 for the tall and 1 2/3 for the short. I thought about naming this "Plate 4 x 4 with Boat Mast Base (...) (22 years ago, 16-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Nick, If you open your .dat in Leocad you can use the .3ds export option. (URL) you could get a plugin for 3ds max that inports lightwave and then use ldraw2lws for conversion. HTH (...) (22 years ago, 16-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad)

(...) Well you could use my method, convert the DAT file to DXF format using dat2dxf and then import it into your 3d program of choice. (I use Rhino but 3D Studio can also import dxf files) -Orion (22 years ago, 15-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad)

(...) I just use the magnitude of the mouse movement, and feed it in as the first argument to a glRotate call. I missed it. QUAD2DAT still uses the old convention. Steve I already submitted the part to the tracker. Do you want me to resubmit an updated version of the part with the corrected reference to ring1.dat? Or do you have to replace it for me? You (...)
