  Re: 8880 Steering

(...) Well, I did, but the suspension has no droop in it to cut down on hard angles, and the shocks aren't in yet. Probably some errors. I only got to step 24. Email me if you want it. Rob (24 years ago, 5-Jan-01, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: January LDraw MOTM Competition

  Re: New Part: 3001_d.dat - Duplo Brick 2 x 4

Whoops- I forgot to add something... this is a working copy only. It certainly needs work. Mainly, it has none of the interior ribs. I'm just posting it because I am already using it as a standin piece right now. If someone else wants to do it (...) (24 years ago, 4-Jan-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Updated Primitive - 1-8t0102 1/8 torus, 1-inner Radius, 2-outer radius

Paul (et al), Sorry I haven't replied to this message, I've been meaning to, but I didn't want to rush out a quick reply without thinking things through. I'm not sure I've thought things through thoroughly, but I thought I'd at least throw this out. (...) (24 years ago, 4-Jan-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)

  New Part: 3001_d.dat - Duplo Brick 2 x 4  [DAT]

Again, I'm not an expert on naming conventions. But it makes sense to me to name a Duplo piece after the corresponding System piece and append it with "_d". But if someone more up on this sort of thing has a better idea, by all means correct me (not (...) (24 years ago, 4-Jan-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

New Primitive: Stud4du.dat Duplo bottom tube  [DAT]

I'm not terribly familiar with the naming conventions for parts, so I expect this will need a different name and/or filename... This is the bottom tube for Duplo parts. Note that it is not just a doubled System tube. The inner diameter is (...) (24 years ago, 4-Jan-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)

  Lions face cornice/facade piece ?

Has anyone done the Lions face cornice/facade piece from the 2000 Castle series ? In any case, I was able to determine the part number. Its stamped deep within one of the two bottom channels... 30274 Ray l#124 (24 years ago, 4-Jan-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: New Primitive: Studdu2.dat Duplo Stud

This part looks good to me, although the geometry is clearly a combination between older Duplo parts and newer Duplo parts. The OD is clearly correct because it exactly doubles a System stud. You can demonstrate with a pair of plates that the space (...) (24 years ago, 4-Jan-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)
