I’m proud to announce MechaHub’s first contest!

For the click challenged ;)
Ladies and Gents and Kids of all ages. I’m very proud to announce a new Mecha
contest. The Exo-Force Build Off. The theme is easy enough. I’m looking for
Exo-Force oriented MOCs with only one requirement; you must use an Exo-Force
fig. The MOCs can be big or small best in each category will win! The best
part, prizes will be provided by the LEGO company.
The Rules:
*You must use an Exo-Force minifig. This can be an Evil Robot fig or a Heroic
Human fig from the LEGO Exo-Force product line.
*New creations only.
*Must indicate which Group and Category you are submitting an entry for.
*Submissions must be emailed to exoforcecontestATmechahubDOTcom
*Each person is allowed to enter one entry per category. Each participant may
enter up to seven creations for this contest.
The Categories:
*Mecha–Robot
*Mecha–Human
*Bridge/Gate scene
*Fortress/Mech Bay–Robot
*Fortress/Mech Bay–Human
*Micro Scene (Exo-Force minifig requirement waived for this category only)
*Vignette (A minifig scene set onto an 8 stud by 8 stud base)
Age Groups:
I am dividing this contest into two age groups. You must tell me which age
group you qualify for. NOTE, you can enter MOCs for any category regardless of
your age group.:
*Group One(ages 0-13)
*Group Two (ages 14+)
The Due Date:
All entries must be received by 30Sept2006. Winners will be announced 7Oct2006
at NWBrickCon, by our judges.
How to Enter:
Email up to three (3) pictures per entry to exoforcecontestATmechahubDOTcom
Please make the subject line “Entry Name Group Category” So an entry by me
would read “Entry MarkNeumann Group2 Mecha-Robot” Stories may be included
and are encouraged. You may write as little or as much about your entry as you
wish. Your written entry may or may not be used on www.mechahub.com but it will
be read and can only help your chances to win.
Public Display:
This portion of the contest is entirely voluntary and WILL NOT effect your
chances of winning. I will dedicate a section of the mecha display at
NWBrickCon for Exo-Force Build Off entries. If you are attending NWBrickCon you
can simply bring your Exo-Force Build Off entry. Otherwise, if you would like
your entry shown off, contact Mark Neumann ( markATNOSPAMmechahubDOTcom ) and I
will work with you to get your entry to NWBrickCon.
